Ladies Ministry

 Our Ladies Ministry is two-fold:  we seek to reach outward and minister to others and inward as we seek opportunities which in turn minister to us.

      We’ve been involved in a wide variety of activities including trips to Memphis & Franklin, TN, heard from missionary friends, had Bible studies, home and garden tours, outings at local parks, and work nights where we put together bags for church outreach; we’ve written letters to soldiers, hurricane victims and missionaries, made cookies for shut-ins, hosted a number of themed speakers and served meals, done crafts, had learning sessions, book reviews, beauty makeovers, watched movies, and hosted a women’s health forum.  We’ve had a white elephant exchange, a jewelry and accessory swap, attended conferences, participated in Baptist Women’s Day, made cups of encouragement for Gentilly Baptist Church in New Orleans with whom we were partnered after Hurricane Katrina, and knitted and crocheted scarves for our troops overseas, and scarves, hats and mittens for orphans in Moldova.
